ANTIQUE SCULPTURE: ITALIAN MARBLE ROUNDEL, SPANISH POLYCHROME FIGURE, AUSTRIAN POLYCHROME WOOD FIGURE, DUTCH OAKWOOD RELIEF

A CAMEO CABINET with twenty drawers, fourteen
of them containing plaster casts of antique cameos, with
three handwritten guides to the contents, 26V2tn. high
(68cm.) 19th Century, lock broken.

AN ITALIAN MARBLE ROUNDEL with a bust of Apollo facing to dexter, a quiver of arrows in the back-ground, on the reverse a bust of Diana facing to dexter, her hair bound by a

fillet decorated with a crescent moon, in the background a capped quiver, 8in. diameter (20.4cm.) 18th Century, support hole at base of roundel.

A WHITE MARBLE BUST of St. John the Baptist, after Rosselino, by Ottavio Pucci, on rectangular white marble base, 12lhin. high (31.8cm.) Italian, 19th Century.

A TERRACOTTA BUST of a young girl with grapes in
her hair, in late 18th Century style, French, 15in. high
(38cm.), on chipped marble base    .

A BRONZE FIGURE of a Satyr carrying the child
Dionysos, after the antique, the satyr is shown striding
forward carrying a child on his Shoulders, the child’s
hair festooned with vine and with grapes in his raised
right hand, with tree stump support, 22′Mn. high (57cm.)
turn 18th/19th Century, base lacking.

A SPANISH POLYCHROME FIGURE of St. Antony of
Padua, in Franciscan habit, the Child with his right
hand stretched out in playful benediction sitting on the
book on his left arm, his right hand and arm extended,
probably to hold a Uly, the cloud he Stands on adorned
with four winged cherub-heads, on raised quatrefoil
base, some traces of original polychrome, 25in. high
(63.5cm.) late 17th Century.

A POLYCHROME PINEWOOD BUST of a young Man
with short curly hair, moustache and small goatee beard,
in contemporary dress, 17V2in. high (44.5cm.) Spanish,
17thCentury.

A VENETIAN BRONZE CANDLESTICK, after Roccata-
gliata, the vase-shaped socket cast with grotesque masks
linked by drapery, the circular base supported on the
Shoulders of three infant fauns linked by swags with
pendant tassels, the bronze of high copper content, brown
natural patina with traces of black lacquer, 6′A in. high
(16cm.)

A SPANISH POLYCHROME FIGURE of St. Antony of
Padua, the bearded, tonsured Saint stands looking
slightly sinister, wearing a richly decorated tunic and
cloak, 153Ain. high (40cm.) late 18th Century, one hand
wanting, later polychrome base.

A SPANISH LEATHER COVERED CASKET, lacquered
with conventional flowers, birds and animais in gilding
and translucent colours on a black ground, silver hinge
mounts and lock, lOin. by 43Ain. by 63Ain. (25.4cm. by
12cm. by 17cm.) 17th Century.

AN AUSTRIAN POLYCHROME WOOD FIGURE of St.
John, in Gothic style, holding a chalice in his left hand,
long flowing hair, a cloak over his waisted robe, 15in.
high (38cm.).

A FRIESIAN WOOD DOWER CASKET, roofed lid with hinged Aap, chip carved with stylized rosaces, iron Straps and hasp, 12lhin. high (32cm.) 18th Century.

A GOOD NEAPOLITAN CRIB FIGURE of the Innkeeper, 15′Ain. high (38.8cm.) late 18th Century.

A SPANISH POLYCHROME WOOD FIGURE of a Cardinal, the bearded figure stands with his weight on his left leg, his arms spread in benediction, his eyes set with glass, 45in. high
